All college campuses officially close for the Christmas break at 12pm on Thursday 11 December. All lessons will resume when the college reopens on Monday 5 January 2026.

During the closure, you can still contact us for general enquiries by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or calling 01923 812345 on weekdays from Friday 12 December until Friday 19 December. Our lines will be open between 9am – 4pm during this period, with an earlier finish of 12pm on Friday 19 December.

Any enquiries received after Friday 19 December will be picked up when the college reopens in the new year.

Support services

If you need any support over the Christmas period, there are a number of support services you can contact below.

  • Health Assured – College has funded a 24/7 free telephone support line. Call 0800 028 3766 for access to trained counsellors. We've emailed all students their unique access code for this service.
  • Your doctor – it is important that your doctor is aware of your symptoms, as being your primary care service, they can offer you access to wider treatment and medical support.
  • The A&E department at your nearest hospital or 999 if you are very concerned about your own or someone else's imminent safety.
  • Childline - trained Childline counsellors are there for young people 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Telephone: 0800 1111 (Freephone from mobiles and landlines)
  • Samaritans – trained Samaritans are available to talk through your concerns, worries and troubles any time, day or night. Telephone: 116 123 (Freephone from mobiles and landlines)
  • Papyrus – Trained counsellors are there for anyone under 35 between 9am – 10pm weekdays and 2pm – 10pm weekends. Telephone: 0800 068 41 41.
  • Emergency contact for safeguarding concerns - We will continue to provide urgent support where required. If you need to contact someone in the college regarding a safeguarding matter, please call 01923 812122 to speak to the duty manager.

 

Exams

Exams are due to start from Tuesday 6 January 2026. If you have an exam in the new year, you will receive your official statement of entry by email, which will confirm your exam date, as well as the time and the room of your exam.

 

On Demand College

You can access all your usual learning resources via CANVAS – our online learning platform. There are plenty of learning materials for you to make the most of. Click here to access CANVAS.
