What will I study?
This course is a springboard for studying Art and Design at a higher level. Following a broad introduction, the focus is on project briefs across the specialisms of:
• Graphic design
• 3D design
• Textiles
• Photography
• Digital arts
• Creative ArtsYou'll study modules such as:
• Introduction to materials, processes and technical skills in art and design
• Introduction to contextual research in art and design
• Introduction to drawing skills
• Introduction to communication skills in art and design
• Solving 2D creative problems
• Solving 3D creative problems
• Solving time-based creative problems
• Developing and producing a personal project in art and designThrough visits to galleries and exhibitions you’ll learn to view and record the work of artists and designers.
