We recently hosted Morgan Sindall Construction for a Virtual Reality and Extended Reality workshop to showcase the benefits of this technology.

The technology on display is part of the college's recent investment in VR equipment and software, following investment from the Strategic Development Fund. This new technology is part of a wider approach to shape our curriculum in alignment with the Local Skills Improvement Plan.

We're working hard to prepare our students with the skills they need for the local jobs market. We need employers to provide opportunities and collaborate with us to best prepare the next generation. Organisations of all sizes can take advantage of the VR and XR kit to upskill and enhance their workforce. Talk to us to find out more, we're ready for business.

Amanda Washbrook, Deputy Principal at West Herts College Group and Rui Mauricio, Senior Digital Construction Manager at Morgan Sindall, outline how we're working together to create new opportunities for skills development.
