A big thank you to the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for providing a number of masterclasses to our Health and Social Care students.
This month, we welcomed West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to the college to deliver two different masterclasses to help prepare our students for a career in the Health & Social sector.
The first masterclass was deliveried by Emily and Hayley, specialists in tissue viability. They covered a range of different topics about the skin, wounds and how to treat wounds.
The second masterclass delivered by Rebecca and Aga, practice and skills educators. Speaking about hospital aquired infections, how to give IV medication and anaphylaxis.
