Health and Social Care is about providing physical, emotional and social support to help people live their lives. The sector plays a vital role in supporting the rest of the economy, with 1.6 million workers currently working in the social care sector.
The ‘Health and Social Care Skills Gap’ refers to a shortage of individuals with the necessary skills to fill roles in the sector. There are over 100,000 care worker vacancies in the UK and soaring demand across the sector. With over 350 different roles across the sector, there are many rewarding roles to choose from.
