Meet Ben Pearson, a former Level 3 Film & TV student, who is now a successful Standby Props in the Film Industry. Ben recently returned to the college to deliver an informative masterclass, sharing his experiences, and offering valuable advice to our current students.
In his masterclass, Ben highlighted how the practical approach of the Film & TV course helped prepare him for working in film production. He spoke to our students about his Standby Props role and how it plays a vital role in bringing the set to life.
Ben’s insights inspired students to consider the wide range of career paths available within the film industry as he mentions “you may think that you’re going to go a certain route, but the industry is funny like that, you can end up somewhere completely different”.
