Next Steps is a non-accredited exit course that aims to further develop the skills needed for adult life as learners prepare to leave education. It provides learners with opportunities to apply the skills they have already acquired at college in new settings, through community provision and volunteering.

We offer two streams on our Next Steps pathway:

  • Next Steps to Community
  • Next Steps to Work

This course is designed for internal students who are working at Entry 2 and Entry 3, having progressed from the Life Skills Pathway.

  • Entry Criteria
