The full-time ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course is for students who are 16-18 years of age and have recently arrived in the UK.

This intensive 15-hour per week course will develop your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking English. As well as studying ESOL you will study maths and ICT. The 16-18 ESOL Study Programme runs through the academic year, typically attending college four days a week.

  • Entry Criteria

    There are no entry criteria for this course, however there will be an assessment so that we can find the level that is right for you. During your assessment, you will have the opportunity to speak to a tutor where you will receive information, advice and guidance about the course you have applied for.

  • What will I study?

    Courses offered from Pre-Entry level (Beginners) to Level 2 (Advanced). You will cover all the skills needs to improve your English, maths and ICT. In addition you will cover topics including personal safety, healthy relationships, prevent and many more.
