Entry Criteria
No prior knowledge of Spanish is required.

What will I study?
You will cover a range of useful topics including some or all of the following:
- Greetings
- The Spanish alphabet and how to spell words
- Giving and requesting personal details like name, age and where you are from
- Ordering food and drink
- Numbers and dates
- Telling the time
- Talking about friends and family
- Describing someone’s physical appearance
- The weather
- Colours
- Clothes and describing what someone is wearing
- Talking about likes and dislikes
- Cultural awareness will be developed
There will be some flexibility to tailor the specific topic areas to the needs of the particular group.
Some basic grammar will be introduced, although the focus will be on oral communication.
No materials other than a pen and paper are necessary. It is strongly recommended that the vocabulary and phrases studied each week are reviewed between classes in order to get the most out of this course.

Future Prospects
