  • Entry Criteria

    Applicants should be electrically qualified and working in the electrical installation industry with C&G 2360/2330/2365 at Level 2 or above. Candidates must also possess a valid 17th Edition Award in the wiring regulations.

    Candidates are expected to be employed in the electrical installation industry for a minimum of 3 to 5 years.

    Over the programme you will cover the following areas:

    • Introduction to the 18th Edition
    • Protection against electric shock
    • Overcurrent protection and discrimination
    • Protection by isolation and switching
    • Selection and erection of equipment
    • Earthing arrangements
    • Protective conductors
    • Special installations
    • Inspection and testing
    • Periodic inspection, testing and maintenance
  • Future Prospects

    Once students have successfully completed/updated their certification they will be able to continue on to the City & Guilds (2391) qualificaiton in Inspection & Testing.
