They are essential skills in all industries, e.g. Maths: Budgeting, invoices, estimating, formulas and technical measurements, reporting. E.g. English: Writing emails, placing orders, communication with colleagues, reading and following instructions.
We combine weekly in-person lessons with AI learning technologies to provide you with the teaching and learning you need to enhance your skills and prepare for assessments and exams.
Depending on your current grades, you will have a slightly different approach to English and maths at college.

If you get a grade 4 or above in both English and maths you will not have any English or maths classes on your timetable. You will however undertake Project Bravura as part of your study programme which includes developing the key skills in English and maths that are relevant to your future career. Yes, if you have achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE English and have not yet a grade 4 or above in GCSE maths you will be timetabled to study and entered to resit just GCSE maths.
Yes, if you haven't yet achieved GCSE grades 4-9 in English or maths you will retake your GCSE exams in the Autumn or Summer series.
Yes, if you have achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE maths and have not yet a grade 4 or above in GCSE English you will be timetabled to study and entered to resit just GCSE English.
