Develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become a qualified Teaching Assistant, while working as an Apprentice in a primary or secondary school.

  • Entry Criteria

    GCSE Maths 9-4 and GCSE English 9-4. You’ll also need paid employment in a primary or secondary school setting for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

  • Future Prospects

    Progress into Industry as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Specialist Support Assistant, Support for Specialist Curriculum Areas or Assistant Teacher. Alternatively, you can progress onto a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant course, or QTS.
