  • What is a funded qualification?
     A funded qualification is a course that is subsidised by the government or other funding bodies, making it more affordable for students. These courses are designed to help you gain skills and qualifications that can improve your career prospects. Funding varies depending on your personal circumstances (age, location, previous qualifications and employment status) and the funding of the specific course you’re interested in. Our Admissions Team can help you make sense of the funding options available to you.

  • What is a full-cost leisure course?
     Full-cost leisure courses are designed for personal enrichment and enjoyment. These courses are not subsidised and are paid for in full by the student. They cover a wide range of interests, from cooking and photography to yoga and creative writing. We use PayPal as our payment provider for our full-cost leisure courses, you may be interested in PayPal credit which allows you to split the cost of a course across three months interest free*

  • How do I apply for a part-time course?
     You can apply for part-time courses online through our website. Simply browse the available courses, select the one that interests you, and follow the application instructions. 

  • What is the duration of part-time courses?
     The duration of part-time courses varies. Some courses may run for a few weeks, while others may last several months. Check the course details for specific information on the duration.

  • Can I study part-time while working?
     Yes, our part-time courses are designed to be flexible and accommodate students who are working or have other commitments. Evening and weekend classes are often available.

  • How do I pay for a full-cost leisure course?
    Payment for full-cost leisure courses can be made online during the application process. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and cash. You can pay online, over the phone or in-person.

  • What happens if I need to withdraw from a course?
    If you need to withdraw from a course, you should contact our admissions team as soon as possible. They can provide information on the withdrawal process and any potential refunds, you have 14 days from the date of your enrolment to withdraw and receive a full refund for your course. 

  • Can I get a qualification from a leisure course?
     Leisure courses are typically designed for personal enrichment and do not lead to formal qualifications. However, they can provide valuable skills and knowledge in your area of interest. Many people have used the skills they develop on a leisure course to pursue a new hobby or set-up a side business.

     Course materials are typically provided by your tutor and may be available online through our student portal. Your tutor will provide specific instructions on how to access and use these materials.
