Gender Pay reporting
The College continues to meet the obligations for monitoring and reporting gender pay gaps alongside the existing requirements for specified public bodies, including publishing annual information to demonstrate compliance under the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED).
West Herts College is proud that the published figures demonstrate we are committed to gender pay equality – we will ensure that this publicly available data is kept up to date in accordance with all statutory requirements.
The College awarded an Honorarium payment to all staff in January 2018, which is reported as Bonus Gender Pay under the Regulations. The Honorarium payment to all staff was applied as a percentage based on actual earnings and FTE. The figures presented are an accurate reflection of the greater number of females employed overall. When examining the data, the largest disparity is seen in the lower quartiles, where we have more women employed in part time roles.
