West Herts students shortlisted for National Design Award 2020
Nine 3D Design students have been shortlisted for the National Design Academy’s National Design Award!
As part of GAP work experience, second year 3D Design students entered the interior design competition and nine were named as finalists.
Alan, the 3D Design tutor at West Herts, said: “This is a massive achievement and a credit to the hard work the students put in to enter it.
“Students were challenged to create an interior design concept using the Dulux colour of the year, a very light, pastel green.
“All of the work produced looks very different, each is personalised, individual and captures things differently.”
Final judging will take place at the end of January by a prestigious judging team made up of Creative Director of Dulux, Marianne Shillingford and National Design Academy Director of Studies Anthony Rayworth.
Alan added: “It’s particularly impressive as our students will be going up against those doing degrees and this is only one element of their course, not a specialism.”
