West Herts students perform at the Big Dance

The Big Dance Bus came to Watford on Sunday 5 June, with performances and activities by the pond from 1pm – 5pm.

Six community dance groups from 7 – 80 years old, including students from West Herts College, followed a professional routine by the Big Dance Bus’ own company. The day also featured workshops and taster sessions, which encouraged everyone to get involved.

Elected Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill said: “Dancing is a fantastic way of keeping fit, and it’s also lots of fun. This event is for everyone in Watford – amateur dancers of all ages will show off their skills, and absolute beginners can get involved too. Just watching the dancers is entertaining in itself, so why pop along and have some fun?” (Source: Watford Borough Council)
