West Herts College achieves quality-mark for screen industry courses

West Herts College has achieved the gold-standard for its screen industry courses, becoming a ScreenSkills Select Provider. ScreenSkills is the industry-led skills body for the UK screen-based industries, in film, TV, VFX, animations and games that recognise training courses that are focused on addressing the main priorities for screen employers, making it easier for young people to get the job they want after finishing their studies.  

Our newly-accredited ScreenSkills Select courses provide our students with the confidence that the practical skills and knowledge they are developing are not only highly sought-after, but are aligned to the expectations of leading employers in the UK screen industries.

The recognised courses are delivered with employment in mind, and we work closely with industry professionals to ensure our students are flexible and ready to meet the latest changes within the sector. The ScreenSkills Select quality-mark indicates courses best suited to prepare students for a career in the screen industries.
