West Herts College achieve whole Matrix Accreditation
We are delighted to announce that the College has successfully achieved whole College Matrix Accreditation for our quality in providing information, advice and guidance.
The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and guidance services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
The Standard consists of four elements that fit around organisations’ business themes. These four elements are:
Element 1 - Leadership and Management
Element 2 - Resource
Element 3 - Service Delivery
Element 4 - Continuous Quality Improvement
The Matrix inspector reported, “There was no escaping West Herts College’s focus on student destinations and there were examples ‘in spades’ of how well the College embeds the provision of information, advice and guidance. The College has been challenged to continue innovating in all aspects of our work.”
West Herts College Deputy Principal, Sarah Knowles, said: “IAG is at the heart of everything we do and we are delighted that our hard work has been acknowledged. Achieving ‘whole-college’ accreditation is something the College has aspired to for a long time. We will continue to embed high quality and impartial advice and guidance into our work.”
