Students pass the “Go Lead” project.
We’d like to congratulate our students on passing the “Go Lead” project.
The 'Go Lead' project was a pilot through Sports Leaders UK. West Herts College were tasked with running the project, to develop 30 non sporty students with their leadership, organisation and delivery skills. The project was run by our College Sports Maker, Thomas Klymkiw.
Thomas targeted students studying Health Education and Care, based on them going into a career where they are likely to lead groups of individuals, in a physically active session.
The 7-hour classroom and sports hall workshop developed a wide range of transferable skills and their confidence, which all the students enjoyed and found rewarding.
