Student receives offer from Hotelschool, the Hague
Level 3 Event Management student Saul Salim has been accepted onto the prestigious Hospitality Management course at Hotelschool, The Hague, in Amsterdam.
Saul said: “Getting accepted to the Hotelschool instantly pulled on my heart strings. I was filled with excitement, which I hadn’t felt about my other options.”
Saul’s acceptance was the result of a great academic record, a strong performance at his selection day, and varied work experience. This included working in the concierge team at the Grove Hotel in Watford and being a server at the Brit Awards 2019.
Tony Parkinson, Food Academy lecturer, was full of praise: “Saul developed his confidence and maturity levels immensely. He is a highly determined and self-motivated student. His acceptance into this prestigious course is a well-deserved reward for his hard work.”
As part of his degree, Saul will learn a second language and spend six months abroad. Saul explained: “The international aspect appeals to me, and I look forward to living abroad and being able to meet people from such a variety of backgrounds and cultures. This will prepare me for a career in hotel management”.
With such a gregarious personality and adaptability to situations, we are excited to see what path Saul follows from here.
