Photography students once again teamed up with the LP Café to give classic album covers a new lease of life. Photography students were given the brief by the staff at LP Café, to recreate, reimagine or reinvent an album cover from ‘Rolling Stone magazines - Top 500 albums of all time’.
The best images have been selected were displayed alongside the original designs in the LP Café during a gallery night last week.
Photography tutor, Brett Clarke said: “Building on the success of last year, we saw the 'Re-Mastered' exhibition at the LP Café even bigger and better. With 48 iconic album covers re-imagined by students from our Level 3 Photography course. The exhibition was outstanding and we had a great turnout, with the public packing out the venue. It was a proud moment for the lecturing staff to see both the quality and creativity of work produced by our students on display to the public. Great photography, great music, great coffee and a great atmosphere, what more could you want?”
