Public Services students visit the Houses of Parliament
Public Services students had an excellent day in and around the Houses of Parliament.
The day began with a guided tour, led by two very informative House of Parliament officers informing students of the history and workings of the House of Commons and House of Lords.
Students were then led into one of their classrooms to learn about the different Voting systems. Students were split into 3 "Parties" where they each had to have a mandate and put that over to the other "Parties" to gain majority of the votes. Cheering and clapping also led to "Parties" getting more points.
