‘Promising talent’ at first football trials of the year

The first football trial for the West Herts College programme had a ‘great turnout’ and ‘lots of promising talent’.

The new hopefuls gathered at the Fullerians FC ground to impress college tutors with their football skills and understanding.

The potential students were put through their paces is a series of different drills which tested a range of skills, abilities and techniques.

Liam Walsh, one of the course tutors at West Herts said: “Hosting Football trials and presentation are always an enjoyable time of the year, prospective learners are given the perfect platform to enjoy, learn and showcase their ability.

“We saw some real talent on the pitch and we’re very excited about our intake across our Football and Sport Science courses next season.”
