Online enrolment now LIVE
If you have received an offer of a place to study at West Herts College, you can now enrol online. Today (Wednesday 4 August), emails are being sent to the email address that you applied with, containing a link to our enrolment form.
If you need any help completing the form, please click here to be linked to our video on how to enrol, that includes a step-by-step guide to helping you enrol.
How to enrol online
To complete the enrolment form and secure your place, you will need:
- A form of ID (passport, provisional driving licence, birth certificate)
- Your predicted GCSE grades or GCSE grades if you’ve already achieved them
- Your Student ID number (provided at the bottom of this email)
- An image of yourself for your student ID card, you can take this on your phone but please make sure it is portrait. It needs to be similar to a passport style photo but you are able to smile!
If you have your GCSE grades you’ll also need your Unique Learner Number (ULN), which is unique to you and can be found at the top of your GCSE certificates.
Please note: If you do not have a valid photo ID, you can still complete your enrolment form and our team will be in touch with the next steps.
Can I enrol without my GCSE results?
Yes, we are asking students to enrol with their predicted grades. If you don’t get the grades you were expecting on results day but you have already enrolled, don’t worry. You’ll still be able to make a start at College and our staff will support you to ensure you're studying at the right level, without having to change your long-term aspirations. You can come in to see us from GCSE results day if you’d like to talk to us in person.
Do I need to enrol to just one course?
Yes, you may have been sent more than one link to enrol if you have an offer on more than one course. Now is the time to make your choice and complete the form once for your chosen course, if you have any final questions about your course then give us a call on 01923 812345.
What if I can’t access my enrolment link?
If you have any issues accessing early enrolment you should contact our Admissions team in the first instance on 01923 812345 to help you complete the form.
However, if you continue to have any problems, or if you need to be assisted by someone in person, drop-in enrolment will open on campus from Thursday 12 August. Please note that on campus enrolment can be busy, so you may be asked to wait until a member of our team becomes available.
I haven’t received an offer yet, can I enrol now?
If you’ve applied to study with us but haven’t yet received an offer, please keep an eye on your emails as we’ll be sending you further information about how you can secure an offer of a place and enrol at college. We’ll be open for drop-in enrolment on campus from Thursday 12 August onwards if you’d like to come and see us in person, click here to read more.
