Graphic Design student wins logo competition
As part of their Work Based Learning module, Foundation degree Graphic Design students were tasked with designing a logo for the Professional Media Transport Guild, which will be launching later this year.
The students were given a live brief – as they would receive in the working world – and, using the colours and branding given by the client, set about designing a new identity for the Guild. Business owner Steve Clarke highly commended the quality of work produced by all students, choosing Antony Burton’s design as the winner and saying: "The whole experience has been a pleasure and I must congratulate the students on their exemplary attitude and warm welcome they have extended to me. They have engaged fully in this project and as a result, I am going to receive exactly what I desired: a first class logo for the Professional Media Transport Guild."
