Lauren McCubbrey - “I chose this course initially with the ambition of becoming a teacher in the school that I’m currently working at. The course was really interesting and it has given me a great insight into child development. Both of my tutors, Jan and Una, have been fantastic in sharing their full depth of knowledge and expertise over the two years. The college has been very supportive, especially the Learning Resource Centre, who helped me clearly breakdown and understand each module.”
Maxine Lynch - “As a mature student I was concerned about returning to education whilst working full time and caring for a family. I now know that I had nothing to worry about. Although it was tricky at first, I soon began to love the reading, research and even the essay writing! I have learnt how to write academically using critical analysis and I’m now able to cite and refence. My confidence in my abilities has increased massively since the start of the course.”
Casie Grow - “I have learnt a lot so much from the course and the tutors are amazing. They have been extremely supportive throughout and I can’t explain just how grateful I am for this. I would recommend the Foundation Degree in Early years to anyone and I can’t wait to gain a full Honours degree at the University of Hertfordshire.”
At £6,165 per year, you can get a full honours degree for less by topping up this two-year course with a final year at university. The degree is eligible for a Student Finance England loan, meaning you won’t need to pay until you’re earning over the threshold.
