Early Years students visit Forest School

Our Early Years students visited Forest School this week, where they learnt about the importance of teaching children through the natural environment.

The aim of Forest School is to provide young students with the opportunity to develop and build their confidence and self-esteem, through hands-on learning experiences in a natural woodland environment.

Throughout the day our students took part in activities such as shelter building, natural arts and crafts, fire lighting and cooking. These activities helped the students to explore new and alternative teaching techniques, which can help build younger students resilience, confidence, independence and creativity.

If you dream of a career in care and early years sector, you can take your first steps here!
