Course Introduction Meetings
We like to do things a little differently here at West Herts College, so we invite all our applicants to a Course Introduction Meeting.
If you already applied to study with us, the next thing we’d love you to do is meet your Head of School and tutors for the course you’ve applied for!
This is also the perfect opportunity to secure your offer, check out the campus and meet other new students.
What happens at the meeting?
We like you to meet your tutors and your new classmates so after a presentation that introduces you to us and your course, you get the chance to sit down with your tutor and go into a bit more detail.
How do I get invited to a Course Introduction Meeting?
Simple – just apply and we’ll be in touch.
Do I need to prepare anything?
In most cases, no. However, if you’re applying for a creative subject, such as performance or music we’d love to see examples of your talent in our mini-workshops at your meeting!
I might need support at College, can I find out more?
Absolutely! If you need support, just let us know when booking your meeting and we’ll make sure our support staff are on hand to meet your needs.
Can I bring someone with me?
You are more than welcome to bring a family member or friend or two. Just let us know when you book your place.
I’d like to find out about more than one course, can I do that?
Of course, you don’t have to make your mind up just yet. Come and find out about the courses you’re interested
in, our admissions experts will be available to offer extra guidance.
Okay, so what’s next?
If you’re happy with your choice we’ll send you a handy guide that tells you what to expect next and how you can enrol.
It’s that simple. We’ll keep you up to date with all the exciting things going on at College by email, just a sneak peak at what you can expect when you join us in September!
