Apprenticeship places for IT students
Apprenticeship places for top IT students
A group of IT students have successfully secured apprenticeships with Freedom Communications.
Six students, who last year achieved top grades on the Level 3 BTEC Computing course, have started their apprenticeships with the Watford-based company in recent weeks.
Student Anthony Herman achieved DDD in his course and has just completed his second week on the company’s technical helpdesk. He said: “My tutors were really encouraging and helped me to the win my place on the apprenticeship and achieve the best results possible. During the course I was given lots of guidance but also taught to work things out for myself. This has increased my confidence and made me proactive; which is really useful when approaching tasks in my new job.”
The apprenticeship lasts two years and if Anthony and his fellow WHC graduates are successful, will lead to permanent employment with company. You can find out more about Freedom Communication’s apprenticeship scheme by visiting their website www.freedomcomms.com
