An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Technical Services team for an Infrastructure and Projects Technician.


We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced individual to join our Infrastructure support team reporting to the Technical Services Operations Manager. You will work as part of a team developing and maintaining the college’s Network, Servers and infrastructure in Watford, Hemel, Kings Langley and Luton.


You will have the opportunity to work on new projects and technologies to ensure we continue to offer an outstanding service to all our students and staff. You will be passionate about I.T and show a keen interest in new technologies.


You will have Cisco CCNA or working towards certification. You will also have extensive experience in hardware and software installation and support for both desktop and network infrastructure, with the ability to diagnose, evaluate, research and devise solutions. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate experience of supporting WAN, LAN and Telecom systems. You will be competent in Windows 10, SCCM and Active Directory.


You will be responsible for ensuring our hardware is maintained appropriately and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure.


You will have excellent customer facing skills, coupled with attention to detail and the ability to think laterally under pressure.
