An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Technical Services team for a Technical Services Support Coordinator.
We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced individual to coordinate the activities of our skilled Technical Services team across all our campuses in Watford, Kings Langley and Hemel Hempstead.
Reporting to the Technical Services Operations Manager, you will supervise and coordinate a team of technicians to ensure all resources are organised effectively and ensure an excellent technical support service is provided to all students and staff of West Herts College
You will have an appropriate qualification in computer network deployment, development and support, or the equivalent level of technical knowledge gained through a combination of experience and specialist training. You will also have successful experience in hardware and software installation and support for both desktop and network infrastructure, with the ability to diagnose, evaluate and devise solutions. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate experience of developing and supporting WAN, LAN and telecom systems. A Cisco qualification coupled with expertise in SCCM 2016 and Apple MacIntosh computers is desirable.
The successful candidate will be customer focused with excellent people skills and experience of management or leadership is desirable.
