An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Sport, Public Services, Science and Travel for a full time Lecturer. This role is perfectly suited to someone with experience of uniformed services and/or teaching.

We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners.

Whilst teaching experience would be a bonus, we are keen to hear from people with a high level of industry knowledge and career experience that they can impart to others, if you are willing to engage in teacher training in the future.

You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities, teaching across a range of public services curriculum programmes.You will be teaching across a range of levels including our HND in Public Services examples of units could include Crime reduction & community safety, Citizenship and Diversity, Government and Policies and Emergency planning.

The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.

The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team and will be working at our Watford campus.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
