The School of Art and Design is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Lecturer to join our Art & Design school, teaching predominantly across Level 3 Fashion.

We aim to do the ordinary things extraordinarily well.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a broad range of skills to be able to teach predominantly across our Level 3 Fashion course, whilst also support our wider Art & Design school, as required.
The successful candidate will need experience in a wide range of Art & Design skills. It is essential for the candidate to have a strong knowledge of Digital Fashion Illustration and be literate in Adobe Creative Suite. It is desirable for candidate to also have knowledge of garment construction.
Teaching experience and relevant qualifications are desirable although we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills who is willing to engage in development. We offer a supportive culture which provides excellent training opportunities. A candidate who can captivate 16-19yr old students and demonstrate good classroom management skills would be ideal.
You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting, as well as working well within a large team.
