We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join the Additional Learning Support team, based in Luton. This team supports mainstream students across a variety of curriculum areas.

As a key part of this dynamic team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of outstanding personalised learning opportunities. We want people who can assist learners to experience all aspects of College life.

Based at either of our Luton Campus’, the successful candidates will need to be flexible, working well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within our curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will have an understanding and experience of working with students with special learning needs where an effective range of learning strategies have been implemented to ensure outstanding learning outcomes and independence. You must have at least a level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.

Working with a range of students, a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills is essential. These roles require proactive professionals who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.

These are term time only, fixed term positions initially until August 2020.

The successful candidate will be reporting into the Additional Learning Support Coordinator.
