We are seeking to appoint a skilful, dedicated and enthusiastic lecturer to join our growing barbering and hairdressing team.

We are looking for someone who has teaching experience as well as a wealth of industry knowledge and skills to pass on to our students. You will be based at our Watford campus with our excellent facilities.

The successful candidate will be teaching on the level two Barbering full time course, units include ‘Cut/Style Mens Hair’ and ‘Cut Mens’ Facial hair’. You may be required to teach on the part-time barbering and hairdressing courses, as well as the full time courses.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

The ideal candidate will hold at least NVQ Level 2 Barbering and Hairdressing qualification. A teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain teacher training qualifications will be supported if you are not yet qualified.  Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications would be an advantage.

This position will be for a fixed term until June 2021.

The successful candidates will join the School of Hair and Beauty reporting to Head of School Edith Amoah.
