The School of Hair and Beauty are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join their successful team. 

The successful candidate will be part of the curriculum team, working alongside teaching staff. The role requires a proactive individual to provide practical support to the staff and students in classrooms across levels 2 - 4.

You will be based at our Watford campus with our excellent facilities. Experience working with young adults would be advantageous, as would an understanding of booking systems and reception work.

You will be required to manage some stock; this could include booking and allocating equipment, maintaining it or preparing it for planned practical use in lessons. You may be required to demonstrate correct and safe use of equipment to students and staff on a one to one basis or in a classroom environment. You may be required to support the team and cover practical or theory classes. 

You will be working approximately 26 hours per week, with the possibility of an evening class. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work flexible hours that will suit the business needs.

The successful candidate will promote professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. Educated to Level 3 Beauty therapy standard and you will have a good practical knowledge of the hairdressing and beauty environment. 

It is essential that you have a professional manner, good communication skills and are capable of interpreting technical information and explaining it clearly.

This position will be for a fixed term basis until June 2021.
