Active IQ Fitness & Sports Massage
Introduction
This industry-recognised qualification underpins the role of a fitness instructor and enables you to demonstrate your expertise in the workplace.
You will develop the knowledge and skills you need to work in the health and fitness industry. You will gain an understanding of the principles and practices involved in planning and monitoring individual and group exercise as well as the techniques used in sports massage.

Entry Criteria
Applicants must have a Level 3 qualification at Merit (MMM) or above and take an entry assessment. Mature applicants will be considered with relevant experience, we also offer a part-time course in AIQ which may be more appropriate.

What will I study?
The course is split into two semesters; Level 2 certificates are completed before the commencement of Level 3 certificates. This course will enable you to become a member of The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
The course is divided into four qualifications:

Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing

Active IQ Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuit Session

Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy

Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training
