Entry Criteria
3 GCSEs (A*-D/9-3) including English or completion of a Level 1 programme.
You will also be invited to a Course Introduction Meeting.

What will I study?
You’ll study the following core and mandatory units:

Digital media sectors and audiences

Planning and pitching a digital media product

Final digital production project

Media industry in context

Deconstruction media products
You’ll also be able to choose from optional specialist units, and are required to pick 2 from the following:

Digital audio production

Digital publishing production

Website production

Digital games production
As well as 4-6 other optional units, including:

Digital editing for moving image

Advertising production

Factual media production

Live briefs will focus your thoughts and project time, whether you’re working in teams or alone to plan and produce audio-visual media.
Alongside your course you’ll study English and maths and take part in GAP work placements to develop your skills and confidence.

Your study options include Level 3 Extended diploma courses in: TV & Film, Photography, Media Production. Possible careers include junior positions in film or TV industry, photography, sound creation or the advertising industry.
