You'll produce a sophisticated portfolio of work to prepare for higher education or launching a career in graphic design.

Entry Criteria
4 GCSEs (A*-C/4-9) including English or successful completion of Level 2 Diploma, and a portfolio of work.
Don't meet the grades? Take a look at the Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design for a solid understanding of key areas - you will be able to progress to the Level 3 upon successful completion.
You will also be invited to a Course Introduction Meeting.

Alongside your course you’ll study English and maths and take part in GAP work placements to develop your skills and confidence.

Successful students can progress into work across a wide range of career areas, including graphic design, advertising and animation.
Further study options include the Foundation degree in Graphic Design – either here at West Herts College or at university. Over 80% of our students progress to university to study a BA/BSc (Hons) degree.
