    Specific areas of study include:


    • Creating business documents - develop the skills to identify and produce a variety of business documents


    • Supporting business meetings - understand the tasks involved in preparing documentation and learn the requirements for supporting meetings successfully
    • Communicating electronically - develop your skills in communicating electronically using different methods such as telephone, emails, faxes and text messaging
    • Managing your health at work - understand how to manage personal health in the workplace and the support provided by employers in maintaining health
    • Job opportunities in business administration - explore conditions of employment, and the qualifications and skills required for different jobs
    • Welcoming visitors - develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of administrative tasks associated with welcoming visitors
    • Employability skills - self-management, team working, business and customer awareness, problem solving, communication, number and ICT skills

  • Future Prospects

    Progress to a Level 2 Diploma in subjects including Business, Computing or Travel and Tourism. With further training and study you’ll be well placed for business admin roles in many organisations.
