Level 1 Award in Performing Arts: Acting for TV & Film
Introduction
When working in television or film actors need to employ vocal, movement and spatial awareness skills in order to develop and play believable characters. This course aims to give learners an idea of what it is like to work as an actor in the television or film industries and introduces them to the preparation and performance of a dramatic role.
Learners will develop confidence in the use of vocal and movement skills needed in television and film as well as a sense of spatial awareness. They will also explore some of the techniques actors use when developing a character for an acting role.

Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
