  • What will I study?

You will expand your vocabulary and your use of verbs in various tenses, including using the preterit to talk about the past. Additional grammar covered will depend largely on the needs of the specific group. The workshops will focus on speaking practice, allowing you to improve your fluency and accuracy by chatting about everyday topics, giving opinions and debating. As you become more effective and confident, you will improve your ability to hold conversations with Spanish speakers on familiar topics, discuss past experiences and tell anecdotes. Cultural awareness will also be developed.

You will need access to a computer in order to engage in online classes using Microsoft Teams. The college will provide you with access to Microsoft teams. It is strongly recommended that the vocabulary, phrases and grammar studied each week are reviewed between classes in order to get the most out of this course.
