Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but a passion for baking is great!
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
Week 1 – Classic tea: - Victoria sponge - Homemade jam - Butter cream - Pistachio macaroons
Week 2 – Old school English: - Apple and blackberry crumble - Homemade custard - Chocolate and orange bread and butter pudding
Week 3 – French: - Black cherry Clafoutis - Raspberry and white chocolate creme brulee
Week 4 – Steamed sponge and pudding: - Spotted dick - Steamed treacle sponge
Week 5 – Set desserts: - White chocolate and Baileys cheesecake - Lavender mousse with hokey pokey
