Essential Computing - complete beginners
Introduction
The course will provide complete beginners with an introduction to computing skills and using the internet. You will learn how to use Microsoft Word to create documents that include applying different text styles and sizes, as well as inserting images. Use the internet to view different websites, and locate information using a search engine. Understand how to send and read an email, and how to stay safe online.

Courses will be run at either Kings Court, Suite 3, 154-155 High Street, Watford WD17 2ER (opposite Cotswold Pyramid) or at West Herts College, Dacorum Campus.

Following the completion of your course you may be able to join the Essential Computing, intermediate course you could progress on the C&G Entry 3 IT course. We will discuss further learning opportunities with you during the course to help you improve your skills and gain employment.
