Ideal for people with very little or no creative writing experience who are interested in improving their creative writing skills. Course content will depend upon prior knowledge and experience, with students expected to share their work and ideas. The learning will be in a fun and informal setting.

Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry criteria for this course.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
During the course the following may be covered, subject to time:
Refresher exercises on grammar and punctuation. The differences between the short story and poetry. How to develop plots. How to create characters. How to consider the voice of the writer. How to enter creative writing competitions.
Classes are fun and informal, and a different topic will be covered each term.
