Overlocker Workshop
Introduction
This course is for those who already have a basic understanding of how to use an overlocker. You will learn how to stitch seams, finish edges and overlock curves and corners while using jersey fabric to make a round- necked T-shirt.

Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry criteria, however students will need an overlocker and some knowledge of how to use it to take part in the course. If you do not have an overlocker please contact us 01923 812345 prior to booking.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
This course will introduce you to working with jersey fabric and making a garment using your machine.
Topics include:
- Understanding jersey and knit fabrics
- Threading and setting up your machine for knits
- Applying a neck binding
- Garment construction
