Entry Criteria
A willingness to learn, self-motivated and good organisational skills are essential. Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification or a regulated equivalent.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
You will learn about manual and spray tanning treatments and how to use professional tanning products, tan gun and compressor. You will also learn about the contra-indications to tanning treatments, key ingredients and the benefits of the treatment. As part of meeting standards, you will also learn the need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout your work.

What can I do next?
Further training opportunities and progression into the NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General are available at college. Open up career opportunities in beauty salons, beauty retail concessions in department stores , day spa's or destination/hotel spa's.
