What will I study?
The course takes place over a four-and-a-half hour day, allowing you to develop your skills in ceramics and pottery in more depth.
Beginners work alongside experienced ceramics graduates to learn new skills and bring their ideas to life. You will have the opportunity to set your own personal goals, while those new to ceramics but with some art experience can tailor workshops to suit their ideas and development aims.
Students from this course take part in prestigious crafts and ceramics fairs, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their pieces and sell their work. Students also have the chance to volunteer at these events. You will gain a greater knowledge and understanding of the professional world of ceramics, and develop and be inspired.
Present and past students meet regularly to talk ceramics and pool together to put on local exhibitions and gain greater exposure for their pieces.
