Introduction
Ideal both for beginners and for experienced print-makers. You will follow a range of topics and learn new techniques through group tuition and individual work. This course encourages creativity and individuality, so bring your boldest ideas with you when you attend your first session.

Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry criteria for this course. However, some drawing skills would be useful.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
When starting the course you should come to the first session with some design ideas you may wish to develop. The content may vary and be adapted to meet the abilities and needs of the class.
You will learn a variety of printmaking skills including:
- Monoprinting – drawing directly on to inked surfaces and printing
- Simple silk screen printing
- Etching and aquatint
- Dry point etching
- Lino–cut and wood cut
No traditional letterpress printing is available
