Introduction
Develop or improve key drawing techniques such as proportion, foreshortening, structure and tone. This course will provide you with the opportunity to work with a range of human life models in different poses within a purpose-built space.

Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry criteria for this course.
Our part-time provision is designed primarily for adult students, aged 19 and over. Students aged 16 to 18 may be allowed to enrol on the course at the discretion of the Head of Admissions and Head of School. If you have any queries please contact our admissions team on 01923 812345. -
What will I study?
This course is suitable for all ranges of experience, and the content may vary and be adapted to meet the abilities and needs of the class.
An ideal opportunity to develop key drawing skills and work with a range of models and poses. You will develop observational skills, looking for balance and symmetry and gesture in your drawing, and using different media. You are encouraged to use a variety of media and will draw from a human life model.
Please bring a sketch pad and pencil and any medium of your choice, ie pastels, watercolours or acrylics, with you. You will need to supply your own materials, although drawing boards are available for use throughout the course.
The tutor will discuss various options during the course and will encourage you to produce large-scale work, eg A3 or A2, for use on easels.
